Remembrance of 11.9.2001

It might sound inappropriate in some kind of way but what I want to speak about today is 11 of September, 2001. We all know what happened. I was just 10 years old. I remember I was at home and me and my family were just planning to go somewhere by car. Few seconds before we went out of home we noticed TV news. I dont remember much, but I can remember my mother crying and my father in shock (and that does not happen so often). We get into car to ride somewhere and my mother listened radio and she cried a lot. It was so hard to watch her crying and I asked her, why does she cry? It happened far from here and it did not hurt anyone of our family. My father tried to explain me, how horrible this catastrophe was. I don´t know whether it was the fact that I was just 10 years old or the fact that I was seeing scenes like this in action movies which were in TV every day, but I haven´t realize it at all. It´s been a long time and nowdays our society is facing the problem of Islamic State. And that made me think about religion. About the power of it! That is why I dont like this kind of "organization". It is even hard for me to explain it. I do believe in God, I can´t say I am strict catholic or whatever. I can´t put myself in some cathegory. Others can. And that is not bad. What is bad, to use a religion and believe for hurting someone. Actually, it is bad to USE it. For any kind of act.

I can feel that there are discussion about terrorism. A lot. And it is very open topic. But I am not sure if we all do understand, how it can affect us? What can we all do to face this threat?

In America, at September 11, more than 3000 people died. Many people lost their loved ones. Many children lost their parents. Sisters lost sisters and mothers lost daughters. It can affect individual life and public life as well.

We know what happened. We know who caused it. We know how many people died. We know it can happen again. Do we realize that it can happen to us? We are small state in this world, our politic is not that "affecting" as the politic of USA. But Islamic State wants everybody do accept their religion and their politics. They literaly want to occupy state by state and land by land. Is it possible that this situation will lead to 3. world war?... I have no words how to finish this article. And I don´t think it should be finish. I don´t think that we, as individuals, have to stay quiet.
